About Dormer Lodge

A warm and welcoming lodge in the Province of Cheshire, consecrated in 1949.

Our History

Dormer Lodge No. 6708 was consecrated in 1949 under the United Grand Lodge of England. For over 75 years we have brought together men of good character from Birkenhead and the wider Wirral Peninsula.

The name “Dormer” reflects the area’s architectural heritage and our lodge has been a cornerstone of Freemasonry in the Province of Cheshire ever since our foundation.

Our Values

We are guided by the three great principles of Freemasonry: Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. These principles shape every aspect of our lodge life.

We are proud to be an inclusive and welcoming lodge that values genuine friendship and personal development above all.
