Local Causes
We support a range of local charities and good causes across Birkenhead, Wirral, and the wider Province of Cheshire. Our members actively fundraise and volunteer throughout the year.
National Charities
Through the Masonic Charitable Foundation, we contribute to national causes supporting healthcare, education, and those in need. The MCF is one of the largest grant-making charities in the UK.
Provincial Charity
The Province of Cheshire coordinates charitable activity across all Cheshire lodges, bringing together resources to make a bigger impact on the causes that matter most to our communities.
Fundraising Events
From our social evenings to special fundraising nights, Dormer Lodge members enjoy coming together for a good cause. Every Festive Board contributes to our charitable giving for the season.
Masonic Charitable Foundation
The MCF supports thousands of people every year — Freemasons, their families, and the wider public. In 2023 alone, the Foundation distributed over £17 million in grants.
