Accessibility statement

Our aim

This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test the site with a screen reader and a keyboard, and we honour your operating system's reduced-motion preference.

What we have done

• A skip-to-content link at the top of every page (visible when you press Tab).
• Strong, visible focus rings on every interactive element.
• Colour contrast that meets or exceeds AA on all text.
• Semantic headings, landmarks and lists so that screen readers can navigate clearly.
• Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images.
• Forms with clear labels and helpful error messages.
• Respect for prefers-reduced-motion: animations are disabled if your system requests it.
• A mobile-first responsive layout that reflows cleanly at any size.

What we have not yet done

Third-party content

Some pages embed content from third parties (e.g. an OpenStreetMap map). We are not responsible for the accessibility of those third-party services, but we choose them carefully and avoid relying on them where we can.
