WCAG 2.2 Level AA
Accessibility statement
We are committed to making this website accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, device or assistive technology.
Our aim
This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test the site with a screen reader and a keyboard, and we honour your operating system's reduced-motion preference.
What we have done
- A skip-to-content link at the top of every page (visible when you press Tab).
- Strong, visible focus rings on every interactive element.
- Colour contrast that meets or exceeds AA on all text.
- Semantic headings, landmarks and lists so that screen readers can navigate clearly.
- Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images.
- Forms with clear labels and helpful error messages.
- Respect for prefers-reduced-motion: animations are disabled if your system requests it.
- A mobile-first responsive layout that reflows cleanly at any size.
What we have not yet done
We are still building and improving the site. If you find any barrier to access, please let us know. Your feedback genuinely helps. Write to secretary.dormer6708@gmail.com with a description of the page, the issue, and the assistive technology you are using.
Third-party content
Some pages embed content from third parties (e.g. an OpenStreetMap map). We are not responsible for the accessibility of those third-party services, but we choose them carefully and avoid relying on them where we can.
Enforcement
If you contact us and are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
