How we collect, use and protect personal information at Dormer Lodge No. 6708.
Who we are
Dormer Lodge No. 6708 is the data controller for the personal information processed via this website. We meet at Birkenhead Masonic Hall, 27 Clifton Road, Birkenhead CH41 2SF. What information we collect
- Enquiry messages. If you write to the Secretary or use a form on this website, we receive whatever you send us: typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.
- Festive Board RSVPs. Name, contact details, attendance, dietary requirements, and payment confirmation reference (we do not store card details, these are handled by Stripe).
- Members information. For brethren of the Lodge, our records include the information required by the United Grand Lodge of England and the Province of Cheshire for membership administration.
- Website analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not place tracking cookies and do not identify individuals.
What we do with it
- To answer your enquiry.
- To manage Lodge meetings, the Festive Board, charitable activities, and other lawful purposes of a Masonic Lodge.
- To meet our obligations to the United Grand Lodge of England and the Province of Cheshire.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiry messages and form submissions are kept for two years unless there is a continuing reason to retain them. Membership records are kept for as long as you remain a member and for a reasonable period thereafter for archival and historical purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected if inaccurate, and to ask us to delete it where there is no legal obligation to keep it. Please write to the Secretary at the email address above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
